The team at CB Reid is delighted to welcome Simon Holland to our practice. Simon joins us as a recent graduate having completed his Masters in Chemistry from the University of Warwick earlier this year.
Simon also has a background in Maths and Law which has led him to investigate careers that would suit his analytical thinking, enjoyment of numerical tasks and ability to create and adapt procedures.
Simon said, “I began looking into numerical and analytical careers and, after much research, I came the conclusion a career in accountancy suited me well and would always challenge and interest me.”
Simon has started work producing and checking tax returns and has enrolled onto the ACA qualification.
Simon continued, “I really want to develop my skills and knowledge at CB Reid. It’s fantastic to join a growing practice that will give me the opportunity to enhance my skills across many areas of accountancy. Tasks are constantly changing day-to-day which means my role is always fresh and challenging.
The practice is very friendly and everyone in the team has been keen to share their knowledge and have been really welcoming.”
